I followed the White Rabbit…

A new delicious and decadent dessert place has popped up in Waterford Lakes off of Alafaya! It is called, White Rabbit Dessert Experience, and it is a great place to go for a rich and scrumptious bite to eat. Located at 875 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828, it is open 12 – 10:45 on Sundays, 2 -10:45 on Mondays through Thursdays, 2 – 11:45 on Fridays, and 12 – 11:45 on Saturdays.

As soon as you walk in, you are transported to the fantasy world of “Wonderland” with charming and quirky wall signage, light fixtures, and art that sets the dreamlike mood. I couldn’t get enough of the different mirrors (looking glass) and different clocks throughout the restaurant… All reminding me of the story it is based on… A funny way to remind us all that we don’t want to be late for our very important date with our sweet treats!

Seating is very comfortable and varied in the restaurant. We passed regular chairs with no arms/sides to cause discomfort as we made our way to the very comfortable booth we were seated at. The table was not attached to the floor and we were able to move it for the comfort of everyone in our party. There are also high walls between most of the seats, which added to privacy as we talked.

The Menu

The dessert options feel endless! They have hot teas, milkshakes, and cold drinks as you open the menu. After that, they have waffles, crepes, cake, sundaes, banana splits, and more. For our visit this evening, we had a friend that was gluten-free with us, and he was able to order a gluten-free waffle (pictured further down). They had other options for guests with allergies as well.

What did we do… “Eat Me” or “Drink Me”

During this trip, we were a party of 4, so we were able to try a variety of dessert options. The first picture is the Strawberry Crepe. While it was delicious, the person that was eating it did say that it was overly sweet for them. The second picture is the gluten-free chocolate chip waffle. The friend that ordered this dessert had nothing bad to say about it and was ecstatic to have a dessert that was that good and gluten-free. The 2 scoop sundae was ordered by my husband, Keith, and he said it was very good, but was a bit much. He wasn’t expecting that much dessert. That sounds like a compliment to the restaurant to me. The third picture is my apple streusel waffle and it was absolutely delectable! The only thing I wished I had more of was the crunchy topping! The final picture is my strawberry shake. It was rich, thick, and tasted lusciously strawberry!

All in all, it was a great after-dinner dessert stop with so many appetizing offerings. I know I am looking forward to my next visit!
